Week of 31 January 2022
Virgo, you need to think about the road ahead here because there are indicators that you’re putting something above what you really need to be focusing on. And I suspect that what’s getting in your way is a romantic feeling for someone.
I say this because, right now, you’re in a situation where you’ve got to deal with a process, an idea, a work-related problem, your studies, or something practical, vocational. It’s intellectual work, and you really need to get your head down.
At the moment, your energy is divided. Things might be looking good for you. You might be feeling pretty loved up and sexy and capable and imagining that you can juggle this new fascination or obsession. But romantic idealizing could drive your thoughts away from the things that you need to attend to this week.
It may be that you’re a leader, and you need to demonstrate your position, your values, who you are. You need to walk the talk, but this new fascination is distracting you. It’s really just a form of procrastination, whether you’re aware of it or not, because some problematic issues lie ahead for you. Some things that you need to nut out in your head. And that is going to be something that you deal with down the track.
If you take time out, away from the problem, when the situation actually needs you to be hands-on and actively working to find a solution, you could drop the ball and lose the gains you made last week.
But if you stay with the moment and reflect on the intellectual exercises before you–if you can put those earthy, sensual feelings aside for a moment–then a new opportunity will present itself. And yes, that opportunity is going to involve steady, conscientious work. And that might sound boring. But it’s the kind of result that you need this week. We’re not talking about forever. We’re just talking about shelving those romantic daydreams for a few days, Virgo.
Skip the daydreams and deal with your responsibilities by exerting dedicated, conscientious effort this week, Virgo.

Like all fictional narratives, the stories that emerge through tarot are not predictive. Instead, these stories offer new ways of seeing situations, alternative perspectives, and opportunities to remind oneself of the ups and downs we all must face in life.
