Leo

Week of 31 January 2022

Leo, recently, a generous offer may have been presented to you or an opportunity or a gift bestowed. And that opportunity has stirred up a bit of jealousy and hostility. Right now, you’re competing for success in something that you value highly. It’s most likely vocational or spiritual, and it might relate to where you see yourself in the world and tie into romantic and intimate relationships, friendships, and other bonds as well.

You’re trying to act with emotional intelligence, but you know that a victory is what you need right now. It might simply mean that you’re writing job applications, or maybe you’ve decided to throw your hat in the ring and start doing something like blogging. But there are so many others out there already, and you feel like you’ve come late to the game.

You might be a writer throwing yourself into this enormous sea of people out there writing and trying to get success. You might be an artist pitching your work. And this recent lucky break you’ve had isn’t enough. Still, you’re worried about how people might react and that maybe it’s stirred up a little bit of jealousy.

It’s a long road you’re on, Leo. But persistence pays out. You may feel exhausted at times. But if you focus on your emotional wellbeing and the practical objective you share in common with your colleagues or teammates, the wheel of fortune could very well turn in your favour.

Like all fictional narratives, the stories that emerge through tarot are not predictive. Instead, these stories offer new ways of seeing situations, alternative perspectives, and opportunities to remind oneself of the ups and downs we all must face in life.
